Monterey County Deputy Sheriff Association (DSA) Endorsement for District 4 Supervisor

The Monterey County DSA is officially announcing the endorsement of Byrl Smith for District 4 Supervisor.

Byrl Smith has been a long time resident not only of Monterey County, but also of District 4.  Her commitment to community and unwavering ethics is what the Board of Supervisors needs.  As a Trustee on the Monterey County Board of Education, Byrl has always refused her monthly stipend, insurance, and other reimbursements saving over $60,000 a year. 

In these tough economic times, Monterey County needs a leader whose focus is on public safety and job creation and one who also leads by example.  Byrl Smith is that leader!
