The MOCODSA is Dedicated To The Community We Serve
The Monterey County Deputy Sheriffs' Association is the union body of the deputy sheriffs of the Monterey County Sheriff's Office. With a population of over 421,000, the county is serviced and protected by 400 dedicated and highly trained sheriffs.
The MOCODSA in conjunction with the administration of the Monterey County Sheriffs' Office ensures each member maintains the highest level of training, ethics and professionalism while serving as a member of the department.
The association is governed by a board of directors. Members are elected to the positions of President, Vice-President, 2nd Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and two Director positions. Elections are held in March, and positions are held for a period of two years.
